That, my brother, is inspiring! There are too many excuses and we use them too much. I don't have every verse of the Bible memorized and when I hear someone's problems, I can't direct them to the Scripture that matches that particular problem. BUT, there is so much I can do. Listen, and that's huge....Pray, even bigger......Do something to help...Priceless! If we all could practice what we know instead of using what we don't know as an excuse, just imagine what an impact we would make. Thanks for the thoughts Bryan!!

Thanks for coming by, Toby. Practicing what we know is key in this broken world.

i love this! reminds me of pastor t's post.
i am so inspired by this!
my husband and i recognized last year that this point "Not around enough lost people" was our biggest obstacle. its so easy to get comfy around our believing friends, hanging out at church and what not.
so we purposed to get out into our community. doing things we enjoy so that when we meet knew people we have an instant common ground...then take it from there.
it has been one of the best things ever! challenging at times, but good for our growth. but ultimately...it isnt about us. its about Him and His children.

Hey Tam, thanks for the platform on your blog to share posts. Don't get me wrong I like the comfy feeling when we are surrounded by believers. Reaching out for me is just hard to do. But with God's grace and love I feel challenged to go outside the box and do His will, not mine. I love the fact that you and Brent are making a point to get out into your community to gain that important, common ground. You are so right, its about Him and His children. Thanks for coming by and have a great weekend!
