I live in Northwestern PA and our house was built in 1900, and we're finishing our attic too. Your stairwell is almost exactly like ours and I think our chimney is in the same spot as yours.

Tomorrow we're putting up drywall, and we've both done similar things (especially the storage areas, you framed them the same way we did). I've taken a few pics so far but I think I'm going to take your idea and snap a video before the drywall and after. We're just turning ours into storage and a bedroom, and for lighting we're using 4 recessed lights in the ceiling. You've been bookmarked sir, and I hope to trade pics/video with ya soon!

Re: Attic Renovations – Part 4

ALDI Rocks!
Without them I don't know how we could afford to have one of us stay home with the kiddo's.
There are still some things that we can't do with out from Walmart, like Heinz producst and Miracle Whip, but most of our groceries come from Aldis. Price comparing here in Western PA shows most things triple the amount at our local name brand stores. I tell everyone they should at least try it.

Re: Attic Renovations – Part 4

dude, I love ALDI!!!!

Re: Attic Renovations – Part 4

Thanks, I hope you enjoy!

Re: Attic Renovations – Part 4

It's like a good movie and ya started in the middle....Now I'm gonna have to check out 1-3.
